The Role

Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential retail merchants who could benefit from our customer finance solutions. Conduct thorough market research and use various channels to generate
a robust pipeline of potential clients.

Consultative Sales Approach: Engage with retail merchants in a professional and personable manner, understanding their unique business needs, and effectively communicate how Payl8r can enhance their
customer experience through flexible finance options.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, showcasing our commitment to providing exceptional service and support.

Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Payl8r’s products and services, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and tailoring your sales approach to address specific merchant requirements.

Achievement of Sales Targets: Utilise your outbound sales experience and goal-driven mindset to consistently meet and exceed sales KPIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure
seamless customer onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven Outbound Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in outbound sales, preferably in the fintech, financial services, or related industries.
 
Persuasive Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with potential clients.
 
Goal-Oriented: A self-motivated individual who thrives in a target-driven environment and consistently achieves or surpasses sales goals.
 
Financial Acumen: Familiarity with financial products, retail finance, or related areas is advantageous.
 
Adaptability: Quick learner who can adapt to changes in the market, industry, or company processes.
 
Team Player: Collaborative mindset, willing to contribute ideas and work
as part of a cohesive team.
 
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using sales tools, CRM systems, and other technology to streamline sales processes.
